Then how are boys and girls supposed to act like?
In class this week, we watched a video called "Tough Guise." It talks about how guys are conformed into acting "tough, strong, and independent." If a guy isn't any of these things then they're automatically known as a "wuss, girl or the "p" word." Boys get this influence and idea of how guys should act either from family or friends and especially the media. On TV, we are exposed to so much violence but usually its boys who play this part, not girls. Girls are shown as the victims. This tells men that they're allowed to treat women with no respect and think its OK for them to put us down and talk about girls like we are nothing. I don't think that there's a difference between males and females except for the fact that we're a different gender. We should all be treated equal and accept others for how they act. I'm a girl and I like to do things that boys usually like to like play video games. Also, I know some guys who like to draw or play music rather than being in football or basketball. That doesn't make them any less than a guy who likes to play sports.

I agree with you that everyone should do waht tehy want to do. Im a girl, but im also a Krav Maga fighter, i get weird looks when i say it, but its not a big deal. i'm not weak, most girls arent, just like most gusy arent huge, strong, proffesional wrestlesrs. And thats perfectly okay.

I totally agree with you, because from everywhere we go there are guys who have to be what they call, "tough". If they aren't like that, then they get called certain names that don't make them a "man". This is wrong, and guys should express whatever way they feel.
