spit..?
Sharing a drink? That's okay. Spit in a cup? That's disgusting. If you really think about it, spit and saliva are the same exact thing. The society shows that spitting isn't appropriate and wrong. But kissing and sharing a waterbottle is like swallowing spit. We were taught that spit is gross so our mind automatically thinks that. It all depends on what the society has trained us to think about things in the world. Our mind conforms to what everyone else is doing and thinking. It depends on what we see going on around us. That's why it is important for parents to put good influences around us so that we are trained to be a good person. The society plays a major role in our lives and controls us in a way to make us think which things are normal and acceptable or wrong and unacceptable.

Spit is disgusting. And yes, even though spit and saliva are the same thing, our society views it in a whole different way. For example, Mr.Salituro went to Japan and ate cow stomach without even knowing it was cow stomach and he liked it. If he already knew what it was before he ate it, he most probably wouldn't of ate it at all. Our society creates our feelings. If we all were given something to eat like chocolate chip cricket cookies, and were not told they had crickets in them, some of us could have liked them. But the fact of saying there were crickets in the cookies, most all of us wouldn't eat them because we do not eat bugs.
